About Us
At the beginning of the fiscal year, the Legislative Council authorizes various agencies to collect and spend taxpayer’s moneys on its behalf. The role of the Auditor General’s Office is to perform an independent assessment to determine whether services received provide value-for-money expended, whether there is accountability for actions taken, and that there is good stewardship of public finances. We report our findings to the Legislative Council.
Staffing
The OAG has staff complement of sixteen (16) persons and is headed by the Auditor General, Miss Florence Lee. Staff positions and reporting relationships are highlighted in the organogram below.
