Ethics & Governance Workshop

The staff of the Office of the Auditor General recently completed a series of training on Ethics and Governance 

The aim of this workshop was to provide a comprehensive overview of the ethical concepts and expectations, the historical events of ethical collapse and governance failures.  Other topics covered were practical ethical decision-making, corporate ethical governance and accountability, professional accounting in the public interest and managing ethics risks and opportunities.  A number of related case studies were discussed as an integral aspect of the sessions. 

All employees at the OAG participated in this training initiative which was facilitated by Mr John Skerritt of Guardian Investment and Consultancy Services.
